This policy explains what data the Beliv web application (“xbeliv.com”) and the Beliv browser extension (“Beliv Universal Automator”) collect, why, and the choices you have. Beliv is a tool that helps you manage and reply to messages in web-based chats using AI. We've tried to write this in plain language; where a section applies specifically to the browser extension, we say so.
Beliv is operated by the team behind xbeliv.com (“Beliv,” “we,” “us”). It applies to your use of the Beliv website, your Beliv account, and the Beliv browser extension. It does not cover the third-party chat sites you use Beliv on (for example WhatsApp Web or Instagram) — those services have their own privacy policies and terms, and you are responsible for using Beliv in line with them.
Account information. When you sign up we store your email address and basic profile details (name, and an optional avatar), your account status, and referral information used to gate invite-only access.
Message content you choose to automate. The extension only reads a chat page after you explicitly turn it on for that site — it is off by default on every website. When enabled on a conversation, it reads the visible messages in that conversation (their text, who sent them, and timestamps) so it can understand context and draft or send replies on your behalf.
Conversation history & settings. To show your chats in your dashboard and keep your AI agents consistent, message transcripts from conversations you have enabled, along with the per-contact settings you configure (tone, style, pause state, notes), are synced to your account.
Local extension configuration. Your API/pairing key, backend URL, base personality, calibration selectors, per-site on/off state, and panel position are stored locally in your browser (chrome.storage.local). Your API key is held by the extension's background worker and sent only to your configured Beliv backend — it is never exposed to the web pages you visit.
Contact form submissions.If you use the “Get in Touch” form, we store the name, email, and message you provide so we can respond.
We do not sell your data, we do not use your message content to serve advertising, and we do not use it to build cross-site advertising or tracking profiles.
We share data only with the infrastructure providers needed to run Beliv, and only as required to provide the service:

Beliv's use of information received from the extension adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Data the extension reads from chat pages is used solely to provide and improve the messaging-automation features you enable. It is not sold, not transferred to third parties except the service providers above (or for legal/security reasons), not used for advertising, and not used for any purpose unrelated to the extension's single purpose of helping you read and reply to your web chats.
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) between the extension, our backend, and our providers, and access controls on stored data. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and limit access to it.
Beliv is not directed to, and is not intended for use by, anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this policy as the product evolves. When we make material changes we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
